Tuesday Soundbaths at the beautiful Tile House - a dedicated Sound Healing chamber in the city. Absorb, relax and find rest to the vibrations of a multi instrument layered soundscape using Tibetan singing bowls, vocals, drum, gong, shruti and chimes.

This is an immersive experience where resonant sounds are produced that permeate the space, and also the body. The vibrations have a gentle but also powerful effect on our regulating systems, shifting brain waves into calm meditative states and the nervous system into rest and repair. 

These sessions also incorporate elements of mindful breathing and movement techniques to support the body and mind into a place of rest. 

In this state of deep relaxation it becomes more available to us to access our innate capacity of repair, healing and movement back towards balance and health. Also more available to us is the ability to release worries, anxieties, emotional and physical stresses that we might be holding onto.

There is strong evidence to suggest that this practice can be particularly supportive for people whose experience of nervous system dysregulation is more intense or extreme.  
 
I offer accessible community sessions that are open to anyone in need of restoration and nervous system reset, and are particularly designed to be safe spaces for neurodivergent and/or highly sensitive people.

Sliding scale costs offered. This is entirely at your discretion, pay as much as you can afford so that you can come to these sessions as often as you need. 

Soundbaths are usually experienced lying down on the floor with eyes closed and blankets for warmth. Chairs are available if this is more comfortable.

Questions, accommodations and adjustments are welcome and I'm happy to be contacted in advance to chat through specific needs or requirements. The ethos is to provide an environment and an experience that is safe, understanding, welcoming and where each person receives what they need.

Not only was the sound bath a beautiful & deeply restorative experience, it allowed me an really good sleep afterwards, which is a rare occurrence for me!
The space created felt so safe, non-judgemental & relaxing I didn't want it to end! I'm usually so anxious & awkward that I can find some treatments a bit intense - this was the opposite - all worries were smoothed out gently & kindly. 
My counter was reset. I rebooked straight after & am bringing a friend. Usually things this helpful & special are beyond my pocket - really, really amazing value for money!

Not all sound baths are equal! I have previously attended sound baths that have been a little 'too much' and have felt jangled from them like my nervous system and energy body has been shaken (not in a good way!). This was completely different and was a much more integrative experience. There were quieter moments in the session which allowed a dropping into stillness and an assimilation of the louder moments. I felt deeply relaxed and very much looked after and not at all jangled but profoundly calm and relaxed like a deep meditation experience. I would highly recommend these skillful, sensitive sound baths - I will definitely be returning!

Mimi has a very calming nature and a  gentle, tuneful, soothing voice. Her physical presence is light and she alludes a feeling of  safety and genuiness. The sound bath was amazing. She is a very skilled practitioner.

I was aware of her walking between us but it was so careful and mindful that her physical movement could not be heard as she approached us individually to bathe us with sound.

The sounds and vibrations were deeply moving on both a physical and emotional level.  Combined with the verbalisations of kindness, love and blessings it allowed me a safe space to release stuckness and to actually feel a shift in energy and the resetting of my nervous system.

I have since felt that the knot and jangled feeling in my chest has been released and my fight/flight response has been deactivated. 

I am autistic with chronic health conditions and generalised anxiety.

Restorative  soundbath sessions.  Neurodivergent friendly - come as you are, receive what you need at a dedicated Sound Healing chamber in the city. 

**40 minute lunchtime Nervous System reset and sound session to fit into your lunch hour**. 

*Ideal for anyone who:*
- needs a quick top up to maintain nervous system regulation in between their visits for longer sound bath sessions 

- has to go back work in the afternoon so needs to feel calm, clear and energised rather than deeper healing and relaxation immersion

- would like a session that incorporates some nervous system grounding, rebalancing exercises and strategies as well as some sound healing work

These sessions have been devised for people who are feeling that their nervous system needs some gentle attention but who maybe don't have the time to set aside for the deeper immersion of a full hour's  soundbath. 

We use a combination of gentle, mindfulness movement, tapping and breathwork exercises that work somatically to regulate the nervous system along with some healing sound vibration to bring coherence and calm,  supporting you to navigate the rest of your day with greater clarity.

Perfect solution to support nervous system!
After the class I felt more conscious, connected and grounded. I was able to deal with stress easily and felt the positive effects of lunchtime top up session for very long time.
